Most of the virologists suggest to work under biosafety cabinet -II (BSC-II) lab to avoid any unexpected cross contamination. Some expert suggest to work in BSC-III laboratories with such virus samples.

I wonder about the actual difference among them and how the cross contamination controlled by these BSC-II or BSC-III lab facilities?

Is it possible to avoid any contaminaiton by using extra PPE while working in the lab?
