Good Morning All,

I am looking for any documents or information regarding how does the current grid operators in countries that have large-scale PV plants connected to its grid such as China, Germany and USA (California) deal with the variability that the renewable brings to the overall system?

I understand that each country has its own grid codes that must be met but for example if the PV plant stopped injecting power to the grid due to a fault or some change in weather conditions. What will the current grid operators do to keep the operation of the grid stable?

If anyone has a clue or an idea of what to read or where to find that information of each country. Also, does the automatic generation control plays a key role here?

Sorry for keeping it long and I appreciate the help or advice

Kinds Regards,

Abdullah
