Thanks for sharing the question. To put it simply, the system is dynamic, and, as such, requires dynamic 'players', that is, active participation. Otherwise, a decrease of RG score is an expected consequence.

See who are your followers? if they active than you that means RG would get less. A flexi word that RG is dynamic is a stretchy and confusing for many people. But see who around you followers and following and observe their activities. If you like to increase your RG number you need to participate daily answering and making questions plus your active projects and other publication.
Yes,I agree with Aly R Abdel-Moemin view if your followers more active than you, your score would get less,so that you should be more active to increase your RG score.
It can fall, maybe not that rapidly, but a decrease to about 9 is possible... It is due to few recommendations (last week) or maybe if the journals of your publications are new weighted (a fewer impact).
Thanks to RG membersfor answers. But some of the points can't be agreed like if one is not active then RG score can decrease. In this particular case,I mentioned, the RG member was quite active in all respect, till then RG score decreased,Another point recommendation, that was also quite good.
From my experience, and only this, active participation is a key factor for the increase of RG score. Specifically, I remember that I did not participate in any of the RG activities for seven successive days of the August of the current year. My absence resulted in the decrease of my RG score. Regarding your responses, dear Mr. Ajit Roy, I find it a little strange that someone '' was quite active in all respect, till then RG score decreased''. I do not know. I cannot exclude it. Everything is in life, even in RG net.
Usually RG score is not supposed to decrease only because of you are not active member. And reason for increasing score to "become active member" can't be supported or I should say it should not be like so. Score should only be based on your number of research papers, its contents, number of files uploaded, number of citations of papers (including self citation) etc. Otherwise, people will upload too many unnecessary questions, and RG will invite you to answer those questions too frequently to irritate you. It's better to emphasize on research works as it is intended to connect researchers.
Following my latter response, can a temporary malfunction of the system result in a decrease of the RG score, irrespective of participation? My common sense says that it is possible.
