I am looking for some methods to estimate the loads in a power system at a transmission level which can be lumped to the individual sub-transmission buses.
Mohamed EL-Shimy I am assuming that the SCADA data (approx. 5 min intervals) of active power and reactive power flow in all the transformers in the sub-transmission and distribution level (132/66, 66/11, etc.) would be known which might give the steady state load information.
Mohamed EL-Shimy Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I am aiming to form an accurate model of a system which has numerous renewable power plants deeply embedded in the sub-transmission network. But since it is not possible to do the extensive model of all sub-transmission stations (maybe in hundreds), I want to place them as aggregated loads at a higher voltage level (eg. 132 or 66 kV). But, I cannot ignore the renewable plants that might exist at 66 kV as well. I am trying to solve this problem mainly.
