Drilling fluids are important in the drilling phase of oil-wells, for continuous phase is OBM, WMB and SBM. Of the least indicated for compatibility is the WBM, however I would like to know if there is an offer in OBM, WBM or SBM for UR.

Water based drilling fluids can be used for the drilling of shale oil at 10000+ ft depths with the application of ihibitive polymeric additives.
Key parameters of the mud formulation design will be to maintain a minimum fluid loss and addition of an inhibitor in the mud formulation.
Apart from the rheological and fluid loss requirements, drilling fluid should be able to sustain the high temperatures encountered inside the wellbore, therefore the knowledge of expected temperatures is very important and then accordingly the additives should be selected. Including a small fraction of TiO2 nanoparticles may significantly improve the thermal stability of polymer mud system as shown in my recent research article:
