There exists many plants which are sensitive to Cd because non-essential trance metal such as cadmium (Cd) is toxic to plants. Please see attached paper for more information.

@ Mahrous, the most sensitive plants to Cd are Sorghum (sorghum bicolor) and Cucumber (Cucumis sativus). Other plants like Wheat (triticum aestivum) and Sweet Corn (Zea mays) also reported very sensitive to Cd.

In soil ecotoxicity assessment using cadmium sensitive plants results obtained revealed that root growth of sorghum and cucumber appear to be the most sensitive to cadmium . For more details consult Environ Pollut 2004; 127 ( 1): 21 - 26.
