Any polymer with -COOH (carboxylic acid) group or primary amine (-NH2) group will be sensitive to pH. You need to pick any thermoresponsive polymer with these functionalities if you want pH responsive properties. Quaternary amines (-NR3+) are not sensitive to pH. Also sulfonic acid (-SO3H) groups are anionic at moderate to high pH and near neutral at very low pH only.
