I am looking at ways to measure volume of water droplets in 1-10 uL volume range, pipetted on a hydrophobic surface using image analysis (or other standard methods). I understand in closed format electrowetting on dielectric image analysis can be applied to images of top view of droplets. Can the same be done with open format (where height of droplet might vary)? Is there any open source image analysis tools for same?
