If you learn any language without focusing on pronunciation , how can you reteach yourself and improve your language?
Dear Abou Oussama Mohammed Chouchani , There are some common and simple techniques for teaching and improving pronunciations such as:
1) Listening, imitating, comprehending and repeating.
2) Finding different vowels of L1 and L2.
3) Comparing and contrasting L1 and L2 suprasegmentals.
4) Practicing minimal pairs with pictures (e.g. sit/seat, ship/sheep etc.)
5) last but not least: listening, listening and listening over and over.
The more the better.
If you don't have a native speaker available, use the Internet. Google Translate provides reasonably well pronounced phrases and words. Just as a caveat: don't trust the translated text. I use this method for pronouncing difficult words in Thai and have got good results by repetition.
