This relates to bio-indication studies of heavy metals using earthworms obtained from soil with history of heavy metal contamination. I want to empty the gut of earthworms, reintroduce them into soil (to which I must have added concentrations of heavy metals). afterwards make some correlations between concentration values obtained from earthworms and that from soil.
The LC50 heavy metal values for earthworms depend on the species of earthworms that are used for the research and it also depends on the type and the characteristics of heavy metals to which that worms are exposed. For example, for Eisenia andrei, Cadmium (Cd) has a LC50 of 147,6 mg kg-1 (IC: 118,5-196,8), estimated by Marcano (2006).
Please, tell me what heavy metals you will add to soil and I try to tell you the LC50 of each heavy metals.

I've done a summary of the data for the acute and sublethal toxicity of the heavy metals that you mentioned to Eisenia fetida exposed under Standard Conditions to OECD Artificial Soil.
These data derived from Spungeon, D.J.,Hopkin, S.P., and Jones, D.T., Environ. Pollut. 84: 123-130, 1994. LC50 values in bold are averages calculated from data published in a number of sources for a variety of lumbricid species; the original data were expressed in a number of different ways and obtained under a range of laboratory-exposure conditions but nevertheless give an indication of the consensus acute toxicities of the four metals.
Concentration values expressed on a dry mass basis.
