I believe one of the most interesting issues to study in relation to Organizational Development is to develop the idea of postmodernism, especially by focusing on the efficiency of postmodern models during uncertain times.

The crux of OD has always been policy frame and direction towards future. There are various models or you can make your research intensive model might suits according to industry. However, the theme will lead to qualitative or action research ultimately shape OD thesis.
since OD is your dependent variable you can think Technological advancement is the independent variable and organizational change can play the mediating role
I do think, a good start is to clarify, how to define and measure the potential benefits of OD to organizations
In Mexico, many organizations blend OD with Human Resources or Human Capital departments. I think this blending is a big mistake.
OD, should focus in the entire organization, looking for an integral development, and mainly in the design of better futures. Meaning OD, is a future oriented set of activities, working and departing from the present
