Hello everyone.
I'm studying endocrine pancreas, but for some experimental studies I would like to also measure exocrine activity. Since exocrine activity is not my main focus and I have absolutely zero expertise in it I want to do a quick and easy essay that doesn't involve major surgical procedures with the animal.
How is exocrine activity normally measured in vivo? Is it by collection of the digestive enzymes from catheter in the bile duct? Or is there anything faster (read out from the blood or some behavioral readout)?
Thank you
