Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
Can increase in hardness and tensile strength of metals exposed to biodiesel be linked with any of the following factors:
1. Inter molecular reaction of the metals with the presence of biodiesel;
2. Akhlaghi et al. (2015) noticed tensile strength and hardness values for the elastomers exposed in rapeseed biodiesel were lower than these values of diesel fuel. What is additives loss in metals? Akhlaghi et al. (2015) reports about the additives loss in rubber. Is it possible to make the same relationship for metals?
3. loss in the alloy element of metal such as brass.
Kindly explain.
