Since March 2020, schools are shut and children are forced to stay at home, learn through online classes. How will this affect their physical, psychological and developmental aspects.

Closure of schools and the subsequent shift to online mode has thoroughly influenced many aspects of the learner's life. For instance, too much screen time and a lack of physical activities, at an early age makes a child vulnerable to various physical ailments. Furthermore, depending on the the child's attachment style and internal working models, online learning may eventually lead to internet addiction and excessive usage of social media, which could potentially give rise to stress related pathologies such as anxiety and depression. That being said, online learning may also promote self learning and develop research skills, since the learner has to undertake many tasks on his/her own . Last but not the least, since school provides a potential social environment, children will most probably be deprived of this social stimulus that is required for their proper development. This will have varying influence on children, again , depending on their individual make up.
Here is a study on early aspects of quarantine and homeschooling. It was cited several times by now, maybe perhaps by authors doing some long-term and longitudinal studies.
I think that homeschooling is the most appropriate solution to continue the educational process during the Corona pandemic, but there are many negative effects such as Difficulties in social communication between children ,Dependence on others and on educational programs, which affects mental and cognitive development Isolation and addiction online Excess weight and lack of movement
The shift of students to homeschooling using the Internet due to the Covid 19 pandemic has had a major impact on the child in several ways:
Physical aspects: The child became sedentary and did not engage in any sports activities, which weakened his physical structure, as well as the use of modern devices such as mobile phones in the educational process, which created problems for the child as a result of the radiation emanating from the mobile phone, which the child is not accustomed to.
The psychological aspect: the child in many situations has become apathetic, as a result of the length of time he spends at home, he has become postponed for his work, as well as very irritable and unable to bear some situations.
I agree with Osama Jabr Emad online education is the way of the future but there are downsides; social isolation, lack of physical activity and lack of motivation.
Online is good for now due to the pandemic but it has several challenges especially in developing countries were access to online services is limited. The long term pandemic driven home schooling will greatly affect physical, psychological and developmental aspects of many children.
