Is there is any type of effect in reducing or increasing the formed nuclear tracks?
This question is about radon or radium measurements by using SSNTDS e.g.CR-39.
I mean the effect through the exposure time.
There are a number of papers on this topic, but it depends in the track detector used. A quick Scholar search came up with this for CR-39: Yonggang, H. U. O., et al. "Effect of environment humidity to radon measurement with SSNTD." Nuclear Science and Techniques 20.4 (2009): 228-228. And this for LR115: Mireles, F., et al. "Evaluation of efficiency calibration parameters of the LR-115 Radon detector." Health physics 98.2 (2010): S63-S68. But there are many.
Basically, both sensitivity and signal fade rate depend on the temperature during exposure and storage. In addition, there is a strong dependence on temperature of the etching solution. Some of this information is available in the papers cited by John. There are certainly many more papers, mostly older, that contain additional information.

The paper attached by dr. Farag refers to charcoal canisters (which are very sensitive to humidity) and not to nuclear track detectors.
