I would like to know if the preparation and fixing methods are the same. I am working on developing a dip and read diagnostic test strip but I could not find standard procedures or requirements. I was only able to find an article about lateral flow test strip so I'd like to know if they are, in a way, similar.

I hope you develop a dip stick tab that marks of myoglobin semi-quantitative. I'ver been begging the urostix manufacturers to add that on. We are DELIBERATELY kept in the dark about the frequency of rhabdomyolysis from statins, how long it persists after discontinuation, and what blood levels result in renal damage. Tracking urine levels, I believe, is more sensitive and the blood test is very expensive. So please come up with a dip stick pad for myoglobin.
