In most of the researches, its reoprted that when there is lower amounts of soil available P, then the AMF - Corn association will be more effective and when there is high amount of soil available P then it will affect the association and there will be lesser colonization percentage of AMF in corn roots? The question is that, at field situation, what are the critical limits? At which exact amount of soil available P colonization percentage will start decreasing?

It is general knowledge already that AMF works well with soils that are low in P (generally below 8-10 mg/kg avail P). However, I have not yet encountered a publication that specifies the exact level of P in the soil for mycorrhiza to occur. This is a very relevant question that necessitates more research.
As we know that P is immobile in soil and also important and major element for the growth of the plants and Mycorrhizal associations enhance it's uptake and enhance the growth of the plants. However the critical level varies in different plants spps, AMF species and availability of P.
