What exactly do you mean with "high EC".
My guess would be: The reasons for a high EC are the diets as well as digestion processes itself, both intestinal as well as in the anaerobic digestor. If you successively reduce the amount of organic matter in the substrate, then the mineral components are enriched, right? Therefore I would expect a high EC. However, the question remains what "high" means...
