Advantages: 1. Increased satisfaction among students 2.More successful learning environment 3. Learning becomes more relevant and enjoyable 4. Less stressful 5. Students are motivated which prepares them for lifelong learning 6. Increased clarity and understanding of the concepts 7. Faculty from different departments work together as a team which promotes cooperation between them 8. Helps in positive reinforcement of students as the concepts are learnt in depth 9. Avoids repetition of subjects Disadvantages: 1. Time consuming 2. Requires commitment from faculty members and department 3. Reluctance of faculty and students to curriculum reform 4. Difficulty in implementation 5. Developing modules for Integrated teaching
