I am trying to think ways to reduce faking in a non-SJT type questionnaire. Intermittently adding items that check faking and social desirability is one of the considerations - but is there a term for it? Where can I find more about it? What would such "distracting" items be called?
How would one assess and score such a questionnaire
e.g. in the personnel relations questionnaire, only one of the options is taken into consideration when scoring, although both items are related. Is there a term for that scoring pattern?
