I would like to compile a list of grant opportunities that will be useful for myself and for other postdocs in ecology and evolutionary biology (non bio-medicine). I am specifically interested in opportunities for which currently salaried postdocs can apply as a PI or co-PI, and which will fund experiments, undergraduate hourly work, travel, supplies, etc. I already have a long list of opportunities for fellowships and other ways of funding postdoctoral salary (which I will soon post), and am interested in grants for funding actual projects. Once compiled I will post this list on my website. Opportunities in any country are welcome. Also opportunities for "bridging" the postdoc-junior faculty time period are welcome, such as the Wellcome Fund (http://www.bwfund.org/grant-programs/interfaces-science/career-awards-scientific-interface). If you carry out a post doc in France in a laboratory part of the Agreenium consortium (agricultural sciences), you can apply for the Agreenskills fellowship. This fellowship is granted on top of your salary (it also requires that you have a salary: Agreenskills is not a post-doc funding per se). It can go up to about 1200€ per month which is quite substantial!
