Research Outreach
I received an email today from this publication inviting me to submit an article to their next edition, which all sounded great until they say I will need to pay something towards publication. Now that is a red flag to me - but has anyone else had experience of using this publication please? (both positive and negative please)

Red flag indeed. I would not pay to publish, unless there is a good reason for it.

Conclusion: ResearchPod, Research Features and Research Outreach are all the same (with the same people behind it). It has nothing to do with publishing new work but a paid service to increase the visibility of already existing work.
