There is a growing market for 'organic seeds', but I wonder how different are they from other viable seeds ? Can organochemicals end up in seed tissue, and does that affect plant growth?
Organic Seed means 100% Natural seeds from its parent. it does not artificially modified or processed by using some chemicals or preservatives. organochemicals not used in Organic seeds.
So here is another question: if a crop ( or tree) is subjected to organochemicals ( pesticides, herbicides), can any of the chemicals get incorporatd into seed coat and cotelydon tissue ? And if so, might there be any effects upon seed viability ?
