What are issues with reduced integration with hourglass control for modelling soil domain in SSI analysis?

I have been working on soil structure interaction analysis. I have developed FEM code using full integration for solid and shell elements. I am looking into reduced integration with hourglass control. Are there any problems/issues with reduced integration for pile/raft/soil elements. If yes, is there a way to overcome the issues?.

Hi Fabian Dwenger, thank you very much for the link. I have implemented reduced integration with perturbed hourglass control. I am actually looking for watch it's, if any when applying for SSI problems.
