What are advantages and disadvantages of Translating the Research instrument into different worldly languages ?
Research instruments are referred to the methods a researcher will adopt in carrying out a particular research or study. It could be qualitative or quantitative in nature depending on the nature of such study. The aspect of clearly explains the concept of such instruments to the extent that every reader of such research output or publication would simply understand it clearly is what is meant by translating the research instruments into worldly language in my on opinion.
Advantage of such is making all reader of such research output simply and clearly understand the way such instruments was employed in such z study.
I found it very useful especially for the researchs that depend on a standardised questionnaire.
Translating the questionnaire to different languages make it more applicable, but it should be tested on a pilot sample before using it , to test the reliability and validity.
