There is a campaign, Choosing Wisely, to help doctors to cause less harm by making them aware of their habitual behaviours that have no basis in evidence. It advises doctors on things they shouldn't do or prescribe that have become 'normal' but could potentially causes harm to their patients. What do you think that teachers should stop doing that they believe are 'normal' but can potentially cause harm to their students? Eg innappropriate praise or critique are examples
