If you can describe the experimental set-up in more detail, it would help.

Is this in a vacuum chamber?

Is it measuring microWatts or MegaWatts?

Are you looking at objects at room temperature or at 6000K?

What is your budget?

What are the volumetric constraints?

etc.

I presume that you need a bolometer or a thermopile and that you are measuring radiant energy.

But I could be wrong.

Answers to the above questions would help greatly.

James is fully right. First of all you have to fulfil your constraints and then you have to choose the right equipment, see for example (temperature between 300 K and 900 K, low pressure but no UHV)
