We are looking for a method to measure a length/distance by a device/mobil telefon in the ER. Doese anybody habe expirience/ideas?

We are looking for a method to easily measure a distance within a range of max 10 cm with a precision of 1 mm from a short distance (5-30 cm). A mobile device would be preferable, but other ideas or methods are highly welcome.

Does anybody have experience with this kind of measurement methods?
