Wonder what happens to the Warburg Diffusion angle of an EIS of a Li-ion cell that undergoes aging? Could someone please explain what happens to the angle, I am especially interested in a cell undergoing loss of electrode material due to aging (what would happen to the angle in this scenario?)

the aging of 'all/any' Li-ion cells is a broad scope frame, including in each one case, a (different priority) list of some very complex multi-path (and multi-factor) processes.
So, if possible, name, please, a certain (commercial ?) type of a Li-ion cell
case, you are currently working on, about your initial studies in that important field of the: 'aging by EIS', for 't h i s'[1] Li-ion cell.
1. Also, if possible, show a related (aging-) plot for one case supported from your EIS-data or/and fitting model (parameters) for your Li-ion cell ?

Trying to see the variations of EIS due to the loss of active materials in the electrodes.

The tailing angle (with respect to the horizontal axis) approaches to 45 deg. meaning ion diffusion throughout your electrode becomes challenging and sluggish. It falls into the diffusion-limited regime.
For your case specially, if the loss of active materials triggers pore clogging or make the ion-diffusion path torturous, you could observe the above mentioned change in the tailing angle.
