CFD Thermal analysis

Hi everyone,

I want to model the heat transfer of a ceramic block placed inside an oven. I have tried with a transient thermal study in ANSYS. Will a CFD study considering thermal properties like convection yield better results? Like similar to an CFD aero study; is it possible to perform a thermal study by considering the oven as the computational domain?

Dear Buddhi,

I think it possible to incorporate the oven into computational domain. However, maybe you need to perform solid-fluid combined modeling for such domain. There are detailed information for this issue in the help file.
