Well it depends on the compound but usually iodine vapour staining or potassium permanganate solution spray should do the trick.
You can try also vanillin sulfuric solution, sulfuric acid solution or chromic acid (K2Cr2O7) solution.
You can use various UV beams. We use UV at two wavelengths. If it is not possible, you can use iodide or dichromate solution.

A water spray will often visualize these since the the compound protects the underlying silica from wetting. I didn't see what sort of TLC is being run but this works on silica, diol, amine TLC plates, not C18. Likewise, a sulfuric acid spray is good for alumina and silica, but not bonded phases.
