Takwa Wannassi The common PCR is something that many people knows, at least in a basic manner. This discussion is primarily to help researchers try new kinds of PCR technique and develop knowledge on that.

I would like to discuss about two PCRs I came across while reading about antimicrobial resistance.
Hashemi et al., employed Mismatch Amplification Mutation Assay (MAMA) PCR and Single-Strand Conformation Polymorphism (SSCP) PCR methods to diagnose the chromosomal resistance against Ciprofloxacin and Nalidixic acid in Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
