How could I integrate friction of a contact that varies as function of velocity in Transient Structural, ANSYS?
For example, I have a table data of Friction vs Velocity. In stead of defining a constant friction for each contact, I want to apply the table data. I just don't know how to apply it in ANSYS.

Under the transient there is something call Analysis Type.
Go to it, then right click and choose the load type and then specify the step number then for each step number. specify the initial, minimum and maximum time step.
Be careful this should be for each step number.

Thank you for your suggestion. I agree that time step will influence the velocity of a load applied. But do you think that will change the friction value as well? For me, it will always takes the constant value of friction coeficient defined in the contact.
