I am looking for an anti-mouse VEGF-C / -D antibody (ideally monoclonal) that works well by IHC on paraffin-embedded mouse tissue sections. As I started my searching I came to realise that the host species for most of commercially availble VEGF-C /-D antibodies are mouse, and therefore it would generate a strong background staining in mouse tissues (note these antibodies have been mostly used to detect human VEGF-C by immunohistocehmistry in many papers). I have not been able to find a single paper that shows compelling immunostaining for VEGF-C or VEGF-D in mouse tissues, which is somewhat surprising.

If anyone has experience in detecting mouse VEGF-C or -D by immunohistochemistry, please let me know and it would be much appreciated if you could share the details for the antibody you used.
