Hi, we are running a Sciex TripleTOF using Analyst 1.7 and would like to automatically store the meta data (mainly MS and UPLC parameters) of all aquired measurements in a data base or Excel file. To this end Sciex provides various VB.Net functions which are more or less described in the Analyst Cookbook. Before I start diggin and troubleshooting there, I would be happy if someone could provide an existing solution or recommend an alternative way to solve the problem.

We do not have a LIMS. We would prefer an open source solution. We mainly need it to keep track of machine and column use time, solvent consumption etc. as well as storing sample and experiment information. Best regards, Jan
