I am trying to run MTT assays on a passage number 70 for the cell line and I do not see the same results as I used to see at a lower passage number for the same cell line? some insights would be helpful. Thanks

yes, I don't see cell toxicity at the same level I used to see with a particular drug concentration.
The cells look pretty normal morphologically though.

Thanks for the answer Amit, I am aware of that. I was wondering if anyone has ever used these cell lines for cytotoxic assays and they have observed the same thing too.
