The attached image is the measured tensile strength data (ISO standard) for commercially-available laminating epoxy (cured with hardener). Measured using a universal tensile strength machine in a dog bone-shaped sample.
1. The true stress-strain curve is steep/shallow? is it normal? (I used True strain=LN(engg strain +1) & True stress=EXP(true strain)*engg stress)
2. I am trying to simulate the tensile behaviour using Abaqus software but hard to abstract the input data. Kindly suggest/recommend to achieve it.
3. How do I define elastic zone and plastic zone in the True SS curve (I also tried the calibration option from Abaqus but not successful)

Hi, (small update)
I have solved the issue by removing the unit (%) for strain. Also, I have removed negative values both at the starting point and after brittle breaking. As seen in the picture, my Engg SS curve and True SS curve are behaving normally. Currently trying to fix issue 2 & 3. Thanks.
