As the name implies such samples aim at serving the researcher's particular purpose. Thus, when we want to study, say, deaf behavior , we have to choose only the deaf subjects because they can serve our purpose.
If the population can serve the purpose of your study. You may not need to look further regarding the outcome. If you intention is towards the immediate environment, then you can purpose to use the available sample. In some circumstances like the size of the population may be too large, or you may not have the capacity to cover the entire population. Then you have to stratify, or group according to common characteristics, make up your mind to use one section.
