I'm happy to see this dual-absorber photoanode concept, especially in a good journal like Nano Letters. However, the IPCE spectrum raises many questions. How can you achieve 16% IPCE (for water splitting) under 900 nm illumination? Those photons simply don't have enough energy to drive water splitting (with overpotentials).
