We have a different ultrasonic bath with a max frequency of 40KHz with 28 liters ax volume and i don't have the apparatus they're attaching, i will rather use a floating eppendorf tube holder and will ultrasonicate a cell pellet resuspended in 50ul ...

It should work. However, the extent of desired lysis may require optimization for protein(s) of interest in a particular lysis buffer.
Immersed them in a 600W put at 140% setting ultrasonic bath for 6minutes, a pause , and 2 more minutes... buffer was 20mM NaH2PO4 and 500mM NaCl which doesn't make much sense but that's what the protocol said

Lysing cells in ultrasonic bath is possible but be aware that there is a huge differences between baths. Basically they are made for cleaning purpose not for biological application. To get cells lysed, the energy input should be considerable and it depends on many factors (power itself, the shape of eth bath, water volume); be aware that the energy distribution is not equal. One more level of complexity is the sample container which can affect the ultrasound propagation into samples. Brief, it makes a lot of parameters to consider.
