How to prepare 20% (w/v) HP-β-CD (Cat.NO.: HY-101103, bought from MCE) solution?

Preparation of solvent: Dissolve 0.9 g NaCl in 100 mL distilled water and stir thoroughly until clear to obtain 0.9% (w/v) saline solution. Weighing: Accurately weigh 2 g of dry HP-β-CD (hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin). Dissolution: Add the weighed HP-β-CD to 10 mL of the above 0.9% saline solution and promote dissolution by the following methods:
The following preparation method can be used to prepare 20% (w/v) HP-β-CD (Cat.NO.: HY-101103) solution:
- Ultrasonic treatment:
- Place in a 20-40 kHz ultrasonic instrument, treat for 30 seconds each time, repeat 3 times;
- Heating to aid dissolution:
- Stir at a constant temperature of 37°C for about 30 minutes.
4. Precipitation treatment: If insoluble matter appears, the solution can be heated to 37°C and vortexed until the precipitate is completely dissolved before use.
