I am having difficulty identifying the phases present in this material. It is a wear-resistant coating for high temperature aplications. Attached is the file in various formats, as well as an approximate chemical composition.
some of the phases I got to indentify are Quartz, corundum, Hatrurite, Na-Al2o3 (01-079-2288), (01-074-0663).

I tried to identify the phases present in the sample, and it was very difficult. So, I tried the opposite, I took CaO, Al2O3 and SiO2 patterns and compared with the sample pattern. This picture shows that these 3 compounds sum more than 90% in concentration, but the XRD pattern don't match with this proportion. There are some peaks unindexed, and peaks missing. Could you show how you identified these phases ?

In complex mixtures I recommend Rietveld refinement including a proper understanding of physics of X-ray powder diffraction. I have too much inccorrect results coming out from identification with ICDD database entries.
