I am modelling a 5-span continuous beam using ANSYS software to analyze the effect of a moving load with a different speeds over it.

To apply load we have two options, the first one is that I keep the time difference constant for different speeds and vary the distance travelled by the load during that time step. The other one is to keep the distance travelled by the load at various speed constant and vary the time interval.

While implementing the first method, the deformation is decreases with the increase in the speed of moving load, but for the other method the deformation increases with the increase in the speed of the moving load.

Can you help me understand the why it is happening??????
