There are several valuable questions and answers in Reseach Gate about the satisfaction that pedagogical work produces, however, there are others that declare the effects that this type of work produces on health. Obviously, the fact that problems of dissatisfaction and health arise while working, depends on very different variables.
What is your opinion?
In my view only boring teachers with no vision get sick of their work!
When teachers feel overwhelmed by personal humiliations or factual conflicts, this has a considerable impact on their state of health.
In my view, teachers by nature are very generous and help and guide others selflessly without much expectation. They work for long hours for teaching and research and other related activities. It may impact sometime their health but one get lot of satisfaction when students do well.
'Objectivity' with 'Faculty' strickly as per 'Curriculum' & consistent research via 'Imagination' protect 'Faculty' from any 'Subjectivity'
'Equality', 'Liberty', 'Dignity', 'Autonomy' & 'Integrity' in profession with 'Faculty' safeguards from any unforeseen panic

But negative environment has a considerable impact on their state of health.
Pressure of good results, lot of paper work, criticism, negative thinking may make a person sick!
I said above: "Indeed, positive thinking has better effects than negative thinking. no human would contradict, I assume. …" The question arouses why the largest part of mankind is not in the situation to realise positive thinking. Because most people suffer, living in bad circumstances. There I am a little careful with the request: "Please, think positive!", it could be cynical. They need really help to have a bettter future.

Honestly If the Boss / HOD is Good Behavior even a Sick Teacher would be giving Best and Satisfied Performance. The Environment or Surroundings Contribute Alot for Teachers.. Regards
Too much pressure from co-workers and administrators can make a teacher (or anyone) sick.
I know one instance where an excellent female professor was basically tortured (verbally) by an obscure, but fanatic anti-women Moslem colleague. She became a "vegetable" and gone on disability for about 10 years, later resigned. The colleague went on to become a member of the University Senate!
Lack of teaching resources....too many students exceeding teacher-pupil ratio.....poor infrastructure and dirty environments.....poor accommodation especially for teachers working away from home.
There should be balance in work and routine in life. However thirst of knowledge make some people weak due to loss of such balance.
Yes, a balance of teaching, research and extra curricular activities should keep a true teacher happy but presently, a teacher is being loaded with paper work, records, reports which may cause sickness!
Teaching can offer many satisfactions to teachers and can heal suffering, that happens when you have progress in your students. When we know that we are helping to build a better and better society.
However, I know colleagues who have an opposite view but very well argued about it. They say that:
Teaching is a work activity that poses emotional challenges, because in any case it is about transforming attitudes.
That we get involved with a great force of affection to be able to achieve positive responses from a student body that, in advance, is known to not always offer the best dedication.
In this process, the expectations of the teachers committed to a teaching objective are damaged, when this objective is not met, it causes the teacher to suffer a bad social evaluation of their work.
That is why many teachers get sick and do not accept in any way that their health has deteriorated:

If i was to have a guess off the top of my head ... limitless workload , repeatative tasks, long hours, unending admin – exacerbated by a surfeit of institutional; professional body, regional authority and government 'initiatives' appraisal, evaluation and performance-related pay
