As you would not have the literature on this plant for this AA enzyme activity, best would be to do a time-course your self, say dry seeds, soaking in water for 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, 10 days etc. (until you see the white plumule come out!) and do a simple spectrophotometric/ colorimetric test of AA to figure out when the enzyme is most active and then check out the expression patterns a few (days) or hours before to find gene expression patterns. thanks.
