Case reports are important parts of scientific evidences. There are a few aspects someone should consider during a review process:
1. No matter whether the reported disease is rare or not.
2. Any other published similar reported case? If no, then it's possibly important.
3. Is this case report going to give impacts to the scientific community? i.e. novel pathogenic association, novel treatment option, or new concept of a disease. If yes, then it's possibly interesting and is a potent source of future citation.
