In addition to looking for tier 1 journals, I will suggest looking for journals that publish your research free of cost, and also available freely to anyone, anywhere in the world. This serves two purposes: (1) It saves you money on publication charges, so you can use your research funds as you see fit, and (2) It helps many high school and higher education teachers and students in developing countries access your articles, and perhaps implement them in your classroom. They would otherwise be unable to afford articles in expensive journals. With that in mind, I would suggest: OPEN PRAXIS and IRRODL. I don't know if they are Scopus indexed, but they are very useful.
