Suppose that there is a electrochemical system with Graphite, graphite, carbon nano tube electrodes, as Reference, Counter, and Working electrode, respectively. the reason to setup such system is to measure the impedance of the electrolyte, and the working electrode(its conductivity, another words). would we be able to receive a reliable EIS results? is there any better way to perform such experiment aiming the conductivity of the CNT and the elctrolyte ?
To test if the results are reliable, change the counter electrode to something else. In a 3electrode setup, the influence of the CE is supposed to be minimal. Due to electrical limitation it can however play a role. So, change the CE and it's placement. If your setup is good, you should be able to reproduce the results that you got from the pure carbon setup.
May be you can first measure the conductivity of the electrolyte in a two electrode configuration with two high surface platinum electrodes or with your graphite electrodes (assuming no bubbles form onto). Later you can use a regular 3 electrode setup (a suitable reference, a platinum/graphite CE and your CNT WE. By the way, how did you made a carbon nanotube electrode? I ask because the EIS response could depend on it... will you made MottSchottky measurements considereing your CNTs are semiconducting? In that case the conductivity of your electrolyte does not matter very much as you are suppose to have the littlest capacitance in the CNTs,,,
you can do - it is the electro chemistry of CNT you will get - do not bother about conductivity as long as it CNT( carbon)

To F. Caballero-Briones: I made the CNT using commercially available ones, I just compressed them in a small mold that I had made and could manage to make a 2x0.5x0.1 cm electrode out of it.
