Has anyone experience of using the above instrument in MRM mode for quantitation? I guess it's OK for a few MRM transitions but has anyone experience of using ion trap(s) to quantitate a large casette of compounds in the one run? I presume one way would to have scheduled MRMs or time windows. Any opinions. Also I presume the Velos Pro iontrap is much better for shotgun protein identification than say a QTRAP. I am looking for a cheap and reliable system that is good for small molecule quantitation and protein identification.
