I am developing a Lagrangian 2D model. I made parts for both work piece and cutting tool with dedicated material proprieties for each one. I defined plastic and damage model. Then to get Temperature profile I assigned specific heat, Conductivity and thermal expansion to both material model. I also defined the sacrificial layer with the feature of deleting elements.Although I got results from normal dynamic simulation such as stress and strain, in (Dynamic Temp, Dis) I got too much of mesh distortion. Could anyone help me to fix it ?

Check the element type, if you are using reduced integration it is probably you got too much mesh distortion.
It is better to activate the ALE method to allow to some extent the Eulerian equations involve solving problem and to alleviate mesh distortions.
